Location:

Argentina is located in South America. North America is the only connecting continent to it. It’s between the countries Chile and Uruguay. The surrounding countries are: Bolivia, Brazil, and Paraguay. It borders the South Atlantic Ocean and Pacific Ocean. It’s at the southern tip of South America.

Size:

Argentina is 2, 780, 400 square kilometers total. Breaking that down between land and water, the land is 2, 736, 690 square kilometers and the water is 43, 710 square kilometers. Compared to the world, it’s ranked number eight for the size. Compared to the United States alone, it’s slightly less than three-tenths the size of United States.

Terrain:

Argentina is made up of different terrains. It’s a place where you can find a variety of things. It all starts with the “rich plains of the Pampas in the northern half, flat  to rolling plateau of Patagonia in south, rugged Andes along western border”. (CIA) So I think that if you like a variety of terrain in one place Argentina is a good place because it has it all. It has plains, plateau, and mountains. There is active volcanic activity in the Andes. There aren’t really any noteworthy rivers, lakes, or seas in Argentina. The only thing mentioned is how it borders the ocean.
